Three Easy Ways to Save a Quick $100

Budgeting for something fun or cutting back on spending, in general, can be difficult if you have a consistent routine. But we want you to know it doesn’t have to be! We have come up with a few simple ways that you can save $100 easy!

1) Pack Your Lunch- It seems obvious but bringing a brown bag to work can save you huge! If you eat out just three times a week during the month you are spending around $144. That’s assuming each lunch is around $12 with tax. Now, imagine all of the groceries you can purchase with $12. You can buy a loaf of bread, a pound of turkey, a bag of pretzels or chips and even a piece of fruit! Just like that, you saved around $130.

2) Cancel Unnecessary Memberships- Do you have a gym membership? If you do, do you regularly go to the gym? Gyms can charge anywhere from $25-$100 a month and if you aren’t stopping by several times a week it isn’t worth it. There are plenty of workouts you can do for free instead. Check out these YouTube workout videos!

3) Say Goodbye to Cable- We bet your cable bill is around $100, if not more. Did you know Netflix is only $11.99 a month for a Premium membership? You’ll gain access to an endless supply of television series and movies. There are plenty of similar options as well. HBO Now costs $14.99 a month and grants you access to hit series like “Game of Thrones” and so many more. You can even get a free trial here.
