To get the offer, join Starbucks Rewards and download the mobile app. You’ll find an offer for a free drink in the “Star Balance” section of the app. You can apply it yourself when ordering in advance through the app or tell the barista at Starbucks you’d like to use the freebie reward when ordering in person.
