Good samaritans are a rare breed nowadays. Not too often do we see strangers spontaneously act out of the kindness of their hearts. The man in this video is one such person.

It starts with the camera shakily trying to focus on him as he runs toward the shore. Once he arrives, we see why he had such a sense of urgency.

A shark flails in the sand, and it is revealed that it is covered in fishing line and has a hook in its jaw.

Acting quickly, the man removes the fishing line and takes the hook out. Immediately afterward, he brings the shark into the water and pushes it out. It swims away...living to see another day thanks to this kind stranger.
