There are many times throughout the year when you need to get a gift for someone. Whether it’s for a birthday, holiday or just because, it can be difficult to come up with something original for everyone you know. But have you considered a gift basket? They are a great way to give a present to someone you care about. They are fun, artistic and, best of all, can be made inexpensively. Once you come up with a theme, work out a budget and start brainstorming. Think of all the things that would be appropriate for the plan you chose, no matter what it is. Next, find a base to put in the container. You can use tissue paper, newspaper or any other fine paper to fill out the bottom; choose the thriftiest option for this. Now it’s time to go shopping and assemble.
Assembling your gift basket is easy but it’s going to take a bit of time. Arrange the items from biggest to smallest, putting the biggest gifts in the back. Make sure breakables are secured or wrapped to prevent them from breaking. Try to spread everything out so that the receiver can see all the great goodies that you got them. After you have all the items arranged, secure everything with cellophane and a decorative bow. This gives it a great, complete look that will bring joy to whomever you give it to.
