How To Remove Stains From White Clothes Before They Set

White clothes are beautiful to wear, but always seem to
attract stains. Without fail, whenever I wear something white, I spill
something on myself. So, if you happen to spill something on your favorite
white outfit, here are some simple solutions to get some common stains out
before they set:

Lipstick: If you
happen to accidentally get makeup or lipstick on your white shirt all you have
to do is blot the stain with a baby wipe or washcloth that has rubbing alcohol
on it.

Oil: If some oil
happens to find its way onto your favorite white outfit, cover the stain
immediately with talc or baby powder. The powder will help to soak up the oil.
Then throw some stain remover on the affected area and wash it in the hottest
water possible.

Red wine: Say you’re
eating dinner, enjoying a nice glass of red wine with your meal when all of a
sudden you spill wine on your new white jacket. If you’re at home douse the
stain with salt, submerge it in cold water, blot till you can’t see the red
wine anymore then launder right away. But if you’re out to eat and can’t strip
down on the spot, soak the stain with club soda and try to wash it as soon as
possible.
