Simply dissolve a half-teaspoon of salt in a glass of warm water and then gargle the mixture for about two to three minutes. This works best if you repeat the process, up to four times a day.

2. Baking Soda Gargle

Gargling with baking soda solution is another way to cure a sore throat. Just dissolve one-half teaspoon of baking soda in warm water. When done, gargle and spit out. This can help you relieve the painful symptoms of sore throat.

3. Drink honey lemon tea

Keeping your body properly hydrated can help cure a sore throat. A delicious way to keep your body hydrated is to drink honey lemon tea. Pour 250 ml of water in a sauce pan and add two teaspoons of honey. Bring the mixture to boil under low heat. When it boils, add a freshly squeezed lemon and then stir. You can also add sugar to taste.
