A Plea for Help on Facebook SAVED This Child’s Life!

Three year old Kennedy has a rare condition that doesn't allow her body to process protein. Eventually, this disease could kill her. 

A liver transplant could cure Kennedy, but the wait list is long and due to medical reasons, the donated liver cannot come from a family member.

In desperation, Kennedy's mother turned to Facebook to ask for help. She put out what she refers to as "the plea of a lifetime" asking if anyone would be willing to donate 25% of their liver to Kennedy. 

To the mother's surprise, she received a response right away! Now Kennedy will be the first person in the world to undergo a liver transplant for this rare condition. A transplant that will save her life.
