A Solider Deployed In Afghanistan Was The Only Hope For This Mom Battling Cancer

This brave woman is named
Crystal Osha, and she received the most heart-warming surprise. She is a mom
from Orlando, Florida, who found out she had cancer in 2011. Unfortunately,
both her siblings were not matches for her bone marrow, and she was given about
a 10% chance of survival. Doctors then went into the bone marrow registry and
found Jacob Lyons as a match. 

Crystal and Jacob remained in correspondence for a few months after becoming her bone marrow donor. Then, Jacob was deployed to Afghanistan in the fall of
last year, and was killed in action in January. Crystal was treated with a
surprise visit from Jacob’s parents, and this video shows the touching reaction
of their first time meeting each other. This story definitely restores your
faith in humanity!
