Celebrate Throwback Thursday with Some Fitness Fads from the Past!
Yesterday we featured a video showcasing some of music's biggest milestones. Today, in honor of Throwback Thursday and Springtime fitness, we bring you 100 Years of Fitness in 100 Seconds! This video reminds us of some of the biggest fitness fads in every decade since the 20th century, from the Trim Twist of the 1960s to 80s Aerobics and 2010's Zumba!
It's amazing to see how much more rigorous our exercise routines have gotten over the years, which makes one think about whether this is due to an increasingly sedentary lifestyle, or whether we've just discovered better ways to keep ourselves healthy and fit. Whatever the answer is, this video is a treat to watch because it's a wonderful celebration of female fitness!
