Elephant Cries Tears of Joy After Being Freed from Suffering

Description

Raju the elephant was captured as a young calf and
has been held imprisoned in chains for the past 50 years. While being used as a
“beggars’ prop,” Raju has been abused, starved and horrifically forced to
suffer for the majority of his life. But now, Raju has finally been freed! As
rescue group, Wildlife SOS, released Raju from his confinement, the majestic
animal had tears streaming down his face. The liberation was incredibly
emotional, as stated by the rescue group - they knew that Raju was realizing
that his suffering was actually coming to an end.
