Most twelve year olds are spending their time in school,
playing sports, hanging out with friends and enjoying life. That’s not the case
for all kids and especially not for this one.

Twelve-year-old Sahana Collins has had a rough life so far.
She is plagued by a genetic skin condition where bumps or scratches in her skin
blister and turn into third degree burns. The pre-teen is constantly in pain
and is unable to even go to school. Sahana’s mother has raised a lot of money
as they search for a cure and they are hopeful that one day, she will be able
to live a normal life. Until they find a cure, Sahana is living life the best
she can and enjoying time with her family.
