One night, Cheena had heard in the distance the cries of a baby. This baby had been abandoned by its 14-year-old month, right after she had given birth.

With six puppies of her own, the dog's motherly instincts kicked in high gear! Cheena somehow managed to carry the newborn over to her own pups, where she happily took him in as if one of her own!

When someone happened to hear those familiar cries coming from somewhere nearby, they went over to investigate. To their surprise, they found the baby and the hero dog, protecting the miracle baby in its arms!
