I Will NEVER Forget the Look on His Face When He Communicates for the Very FIRST Time!

Description

Patrick is a 15-year-old boy who was born in Uganda. He was
born deaf in a place where there are no teachers or schools dedicated to
teaching sign language to the deaf. Patrick has spent the past 15 years with no
way to communicate to those around him.

Raymond Okkelo became deaf in his childhood and now, as an
adult has dedicated his life to teaching sign language to others. He opened a
school in Uganda and people walked from miles and miles away to be there and
learn from him. The look on Patrick’s face as he began to learn the signs was
incredible! It was the first time anyone had seen him smile in ages! You can see
the relief on his face because for the first time in his life he was going to
be able to communicate with his family!
