During this video, you will get to meet Ms. Sonya. She is an elementary school teacher in Albuquerque, New Mexico that goes above and beyond for her students. 

Every morning, she starts the day by asking each student if they ate breakfast, brushed their teeth, and combed their hair. The students spend about an hour in the morning getting ready to start learning at school.

One day, child protective services showed up to the school and asked if anyone could help out with an emergency placement for two children. Sonya stepped up and provided a foster home for the kids and they have lived with her ever since.
