"Just because they're deaf, doesn't mean they can't move their body, doesn't mean they can't cheer." That's what Head Coach of Gallaudet University's cheerleading team, Rosemary Johnson, tells people when they ask about her talented cheerleaders. Like your typical cheerleading squad, they're peppy, precise, and amazing at what they do. What makes them unique is that they're deaf, making cheering more challenging, but not impossible.
