Japanese flutist, Yukie Ota, spent months preparing for the International Flute Competition at the Odense Concert Hall. The arduous hours of practicing made her confident that she would be strong competition for the other contestants. Nothing prepared her for what would happen on her big day!

Right in the middle of her musical number, along fluttered a music-loving butterfly that landed right on Yukie's face. Without disturbance, she continued her performance as if nothing was out of the ordinary. The butterfly fails to faze this professional flutist and if that's not enough to get this girl a medal, I don't know what is! She was phenomenally determined to win the gold!
