Whitney Thore is a self-proclaimed “fat dancer” who has a
mission of spreading body positivity.

Whitney has always loved to dance but during her teenage
years she began to undergo weight gain that robbed her of her confidence and
cause her to quit dancing and living. After her weight rocketed to 250 pounds
and she was diagnosed with polycyctic ovarian syndrome, Whitney finally said
ENOUGH. She stopped listening to the world telling her that fat people can’t be
talented, sexy or smart and she started loving her body and spreading the
message of body positivity.
