After spending 11 days in the Siberian wilderness, 3-year-old Karina Chikitova was finally rescued, scared and alone in northeast Russia's woods.

According the The Siberian Times, the little girl ended up lost after leaving home in search of her father who had recently travelled to a nearby village. The mother, who had assumed the girl was with the father, didn't even realize she was lost! 

Thankfully, with a little help from a puppy named Kyrachaan, Karina was able to stay alive during these 11 lonely days. The amazing pup cuddled with the young girl at night, keeping her warm.  After 9 days, the puppy eventually left her side to go search for help - ultimately leading to Karina's rescue.
