The First Thing This Boy Born Without Fingers Does When He Receives a Mechanical Hand will Melt Your Heart!

Description

The world of 3D printing is ever evolving, and changing lives in the process! Just take Rayven "Bubba" Kahae for example. This little boy was born without fingers on one of his hands, but now he has a hand that would make others jealous!

The 3-year-old suffers from ABS (Amniotic Band Syndrome), which his family says has always made him feel different from other children. But, Bubba's grandmother discovered a non-profit group online and thought they may be able to help her grandson.

This life changing discovery allowed Rayven to receive a prosthetic hand to resemble that of his favorite super hero, Iron Man! Thanks to 3D printing technology, the hand only costs $50 to produce, compared to the thousands of dollars that it would normally take to create a prosthetic. To make the story even better, the non-profit company provided Bubba the hand at no cost to the family!

The special moment when Bubba receives his hand is captured here on camera! To everyone's surprise, instead of reaching for a toy - the first thing Bubba did was hold his own hand!
