Meet Ernie Andrus, 90, is embarking on a running adventure that is probably MUCH longer than you or I have ever run in our lives...total! 

Three days a week, Ernie hits the road, and slowly returns to his mission to become the oldest person in America to run across America. Starting in San Diego, Ernie plans on finishing the trek across the country before his 94th birthday.

The purpose of his journey is to raise awareness for one of the unsung heroes of the World War II, the landing ship tank he served on. This ship is the last of its kind still standing (well, floating) today.  Ernie says if he can run across the country at 90, the least you can do is drive to Indiana to see the ship! Lol, what spunk!
