This Team Changed Countless Lives with Just One Touchdown
Description
The football players on the middle school team conspired for
weeks behind their coach’s back. Their plan was to run two plays to put a smile
on a teammates face; little did they know that they would change his life, his
parent’s lives and their own lives forever.
One of their teammates had a learning disability that was
making it hard for him to fit in. The team took it upon themselves to make sure
he knew how good it felt to score a touchdown and be part of the team. They
stopped the play at the 1-yard line and then protected him the rest of the way.
Even just recalling that day brought tears to the eyes of one of the players.
It meant so much to everyone involved and will be a day they will all remember
forever!
