On a Friday night in 1999, Nicholas White took a cigarette break. He was working in the McGraw-Hill Building in New York City. After he smoked his cigarette, he got in the elevator to head back up to the 30th floor. 

Accept the door didn’t open. The elevator jammed, and he was trapped in there for a staggering 41 hours before someone found him. This is the security footage from the nearly 2 days he spent, trapped and alone.
