Elephants are some of the smartest animals in the world. They can paint and even speak. Well now, they can add saving lives to that growing list of accomplishments.

Darrick and the elephant Kham Lha have a very special bond. Darrick pretends to struggle in the water to see what Kham Lha would do. While all of that may have been an act, Kham Lha's response was very real.

Almost immediately, Kham Lha heads into the water and rushes to Darrick's rescue. This is one dependable elephant.
