In September of 2015, James Pack nearly lost his life and his most prized possessions—his two dogs Baily and Blaze. He was struck with a sudden heart attack and, due to his worsening condition, his dogs were brought to a shelter.

Luckily, James recovered and was back on his feet again. However, after not seeing them for months because of his inability to pay for the adoption fees, he was at a crossroads.

Little did he know, a few kind strangers had pooled together some money to not only pay off the adoption fees but also buy gift cards and toys for the dogs. The dogs were then brought out to be reunited with their owner.
