You Won’t Believe What This 81-Year-Old Woman Is Doing in Prison!

81-year-old Sue Ellen has been going to the same
correctional facility since 1980 and doesn’t plan on stopping any time soon. It
started as a volunteer project and then she never left! She developed and runs
a program within the prison called ‘reaching out from within.’ Her goal is to
help the prisoners become kinder.
Sue Ellen is changing all kinds of statistics in the prison.
Generally about 50% of prisoners end up returning to prison after they are
released but out of all the people who go through Sue Ellen’s program less than
10% return. That is a number we like!
Other prisons would like to replicate her program but there
is no way they can replicate her! She sees the absolute best in everyone and it
makes all the difference in the world.
