8-year-old Myles Eckert found a $20 bill in the parking lot of a Cracker Barrel. Most kids would probably start rejoicing and thinking of what they could spend it on. But for young Myles, he wanted to do something special with the money to honor his late father, a soldier in the US Army who died in Iraq.
He had spotted a man in a soldier's uniform in the restaurant as he was dining with his family, and it reminded him of his father. So Myles did something amazing that changed someone's life - he wrote a heartfelt letter to this soldier, telling him why he was giving him this $20 bill. The letter was so moving that Lt. Col Frank Daly, the recipient of this priceless gift, swears that he looks at it every day and will never forget how he was inspired by Myles.
