Christopher Maloney walked up on The X Factor stage with the worst case of stage fright I have ever seen! He stood before the judges sweating, trembling, and literally shaking in his boots - leaving the crowd questioning if he would even be able to sing.

Christopher begins to tell his story and we learn that after much discouragement from people in his life, it had taken him five years to even send in his application to the show. But this 34-year-old didn't want to let his grandmother down who had encouraged him the whole way through.

Finally, Christopher belts out Bette Midler's "The Rose," and jaws drop. His emotional performance is utterly breathtaking! He left the entire audience in tears.
