HIV Positive Man Asks Strangers if They Dare to Touch Him – This Brought Me to TEARS!

Living with HIV is an experience difficult to describe, but one man from Finland decided to find out whether the stigma surrounding those with HIV still exists, and whether he could find solace in changing human interaction surrounding this disease. He stands in the middle of a busy park in Helsinki, Finland's capital, holding up a sign that says "I am HIV positive. Touch me." 

Some people avert their eyes or ignore him as they pass by, but the reaction from others? It's amazing how much human compassion can really change people's lives, and this man learned a valuable lesson in the middle of that park: that there is power in human connection.
