Mantis Shrimp “Solves” Rubik’s Cube!!

Description

Have you ever tried solving a rubik’s cube? I have and I
don’t know about you, but I didn’t even come close to finishing! Apparently,
this isn’t the case for mantis shrimp! Well…at least at first glance. In the
end, we learn that the film was edited to make it seem like the shrimp “solves”
the cube, when in actuality the shots were manipulated. What the film does
demonstrate is that these creatures are some of the only animals, besides
vertebrates, that actually pick up objects and inspect them – pretty cool!
