These Two Had a Rough Start to Life, Until they Found Each Other!

His parents were overjoyed when they gave birth to their son, Johnny Hickey. But this joy quickly turned to concern when they discovered that something was a bit off with Johnny. 

Being diagnosed with Autism, Johnny grew up having intense difficulty learning and even talking. His parents wanted to make sure they did everything possible to help Johnny overcome his disorder - including thousands of dollars spent on therapy.

One day, the family was met with the opportunity to adopt a pit bull puppy that had been greatly abused. Hesitant if they should take on this responsibility with everything else going on in their lives, they decided to go ahead and do so. 

Little did they know - this adoption would change the puppy AND Johnny's lives forever!
